Rose Rock, the mother of actor Chris Rock, is the author of the book Mama Rock's Rules. She used her own parenting experiences from raising 10 of her own children and 17 foster children to write the book.
Rose Rock also has her own radio show called The Mom Show at WWXM-FM. It mixes top 40 music with questions from callers.
Rock operated and taught at a preschool and daycare both in New York and South Carolina. She currently lives in Georgetown, South Carolina but no longer teaches.
