Rose Byrne is an Australian-born actress. Acting since the age of 12, she landed roles in several TV shows in Australia before reaching international audiences with roles in films such as Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones, Wicker Park (with Josh Hartnett and Diane Kruger) and Troy, a big-budget adaptation of The Iliad by Homer that also starred Brad Pitt, Eric Bana, and Orlando Bloom.
In 2007, Byrne starred in two films by director Danny Boyle: Sunshine and 28 Weeks Later, the sequel to the 2002 horror movie 28 Days Later. On the small screen that same year, she played Ellen Parsons on the FX Network series Damages.
