The Professional Series Roomba is ideal for large areas and can cover up to four rooms. It provides a large capacity bin, to accommodate higher traffic areas . Each Roomba vacuum comes with at least one virtual wall to provide a boundary for cleaning, a brush cleaner, power supply, rechargeable battery and filter.

The iRobot Roomba uses sensors called the AWARE system. These sensors compile data and use the Roombas' environment to determine its direction and actions.
