Ronnie Renner set the world record for the highest quarterpipe jump on a motorcycle on July 11, 2008 with a hight of 59 feet, 2 inches.
Renner's first two attempts at the jump fell short. On his third jump, Renner reached 54 feet, 7 inches, setting a world record. Two more attempts followed, both reaching 53 feet. With the encouragement of the fans, Renner tried one last time. On his sixth and final attempt, Renner broke his previous record reaching 59 feet, 2 inches.
