Ronnie Brewer is a professional basketball player, currently playing for the Memphis Grizzlies. In 2007, he was named the starting shooting guard for the Jazz. He is widely regarded for his defensive presence and his scoring ability at the shooting guard position.
Early Life
Ronnie Brewer was born in Portland, Oregon on March 20, 1985. He would attend Fayetteville High School in Arkansas and then the University of Arkansas.
Pro Career
Brewer would be selected with the 14th pick in the 2006 NBA Draft by the Utah Jazz. In his first season he would struggle to find his way into the rotation. But in 2007 he would earn the starting job at shooting guard for the team. He would also participate in the 2008 NBA Rookie-Sophomore game during All-Star Weekend.
