Ron Wyden

  • Ron Wyden is the senior Democratic Senator from the state of Oregon. Wyden received a scholarship to play basketball for the University of California, Santa Barbara, however, finished his undergraduate work at Stanford University before getting his Juris Doctor at the University of Oregon.

    Wyden along with Maine Senator Olympia Snowe, fought to have a provision in the latest stimulus package that would tax executive bonuses, like the one AIG distributed, at a rate of 35%.
