On April 28, 1995,Villone made his MLB debut with the Seattle Mariners. He has played for several teams throughout his career, including the San Diego Padres, Milwaukee Brewers, Cleveland Indians, Cincinnati Reds, Colorado Rockies, Houston Astros, Pittsburgh Pirates, Arizona Diamondbacks, Seattle Mariners, Florida Marlins, New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals.
