Ron Jaworski began his NFL career with the Los Angeles Rams in 1973. He was not an active player until 1974. In three seasons with the Rams, Jaworski played sparingly. He had another solid season in 1979 when he threw for 2,669 yards, 18 touchdowns and another playoff appearance. In 1985, the Eagles drafted quarterback Randall Cunningham. Ron Jaworski threw for 1,405 yards and 8 touchdowns in his final season as an Eagle.
Jaworski played the 1987 and 1988 season for the Miami Dolphins as the backup for Dan Marino. Ron Jaworski threw just 14 passes for the Dolphins, completed 9 for 123 yards and a touchdown. In 1989, he played for the Kansas City Chiefs. He appeared in 6 games, threw for 385 yards and 2 touchdowns. Ron Jaworski retired following the season with 28,190 passing yards, 179 touchdowns and 164 interceptions.
