Mitt Romney employs a landscaping company to do the yard work at his home in Belmont, Massachusetts. In 2006, the Boston Globe reported that several of the employees who worked on Romney's property were illegal immigrants. Romney maintains he was assured that the company had stopped the practice of hiring illegals, and he continued his relationship with them. This led to Rudy Giuliani's accusations during the YouTube Debate that Romney was running a Sanctuary Mansion. In December 2007, after it was discovered that the company was again using undocumented workers, Romney terminated their contract.
