Romancing the Stone Plot
Romance novelist Joan Wilder (Kathleen Turner) longs for a bit more romance in her dull New York City life, but she gets more action than she bargained for when her sister gets kidnapped and the kidnappers demand she bring them a treasure map to Cartagena, Colombia. Through a series of misadventures, she meets up with rugged soldier of fortune Jack Colton, played by Michael Douglas. Their bickering relationship blossoms into romance on their adventure to save Joan's sister, find a treasure, and save their own skins. -
