Roger Phillip Mason Jr. was born in Washington DC, on September 10, 1980. He attended Good Counsel High School. He continued his education at the University of Virginia. In 2002, Mason was selected by the Chicago Bulls with the 30th pick in the NBA Draft.Basketball-Reference.com: Roger Mason
Pro Career
In his first season with the Bulls, Mason appeared in 17 games. In 2003, he was traded to the Toronto Raptors. He played in 23 games with the Raptors and was released. Mason left the NBA to play overseas, but then returned in 2006 with the Washington Wizards.
