Roe v. Wade was a class action lawsuit in 1973 between lead plaintiff "Jane Roe", years later identified as Norma N. McCorvey, and the Dallas County district attorney Henry Wade, defendant in the lawsuit. Wade represented the state of Texas. March for Life
Pro-life supporters gather yearly in Washington, D.C. for the March for Life. The march is held on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade. They march from the Washington Mall to the U.S. Supreme Court. The 2009 march took place on January 22, 2009, two days after President Barack Obama, who supports Roe v. Wade, took office. Thousands of people participated in the march. -

@Nightline Roe v. Wade should be overturned b/c it was incorrectly decided. Abortion should be a right under the Equal Protection Clause.
