Rodney Stuckey is a professional basketball player for the Detroit Pistons of the National Basketball Association.
On November 9, 2008, Rodney Stuckey left a game against the Boston Celtics due to a dizzy spell. During the game Stuckey was seen patting his chest, trying to catch his breath. The Pistons announced after the game that Stuckey was fine.
On March 5, 2010, Stuckey collapsed into a trainers arms and was taken by ambulance to the hospital. The game against the Cleveland Cavaliers was halted for 12 minutes while Stuckey was administered oxygen. He missed two weeks of the season.
Early Life
Rodney Norvell Stuckey was born in Seattle, Washington, on April 21, 1986. He attended high school at Kentwood High School in Washington. He continued his education at Eastern Washington University. In his first season with the Pistons, Stuckey appeared in 57 games. 2009 - 2010 Season
During the 2009 - 10 season, Stuckey averaged 16.6 points, 4.8 assists and 34.2 minutes in 73 games.
Stuckey's best game came against the Boston Celtics on January 20. The Pistons won 92 to 86, and Stuckey scored 27 points and gathered 11 rebounds to lead the team. It was one of five double-doubles that he had during the season.
Stuckey's season-high 31 points came in a losing effort against the Oklahoma City Thunder on December 18.
