  • Rod Barajas is a Catcher for the Toronto Blue Jays. After attending Cerritos Junior College, Barajas was signed by the Arizona Diamond Backs as an undrafted amateur free agent. After three years in the Diamondbacks' minor league system, Barajas made his major league debut in 1999. Barajas would play 5 seasons with the Diamondbacks before signing a free agent contract to join the Texas Rangers in 2004. After three productive years as a Ranger, Barajas signed with the Philidelphia Phillies in 2006. The Blue Jays Signed Barajas as a backup catcher to start the 2008 season.
