VH1 reality show Rock of Love 2 follows Poison lead singer Bret Michaels on his search for love among 20 women vying for his affections. The winner of the second season was actress and TV hostess Ambre Lake.
Season 2 was set in a six-bedroom mansion in the San Fernando Valley. Each episode found the women competing in various challenges, such as making a music video, building a custom motorcycle, and performing in a "peep show contest," all designed by Michaels to test their abilities and potential compatibility. Challenge winners received private time with Michaels, trips and presents; those who fail to impress were sent home.
The season concluded with episode 12, which aired on April 13, 2008. It featured the two remaining contestants, Ambre Lake and Daisy De La Hoya, competing in the final challenge—a 24-hour date with Michaels in Cancun, Mexico.
