The game is expected to include the 58 playable tracks in the other versions of Rock Band,plus five "bonus songs." The game challenges players to put a band together and tour, while learning lead/bass guitar, drums and vocals. Tracks from every genre of rock music are included, ranging from alternative and classic rock to heavy metal and punk.
