The Wii version of Rock Band was officially announced on January 31, 2008 by Electronic Arts and released as of November 07, 2008MobyGames: Rock Band (Wii). The game is expected to include the 58 playable tracks in the other versions of Rock Band,plus five "bonus songs." The game challenges players to put a band together and tour, while learning lead/bass guitar, drums and vocals. Tracks from every genre of rock music are included, ranging from alternative and classic rock to heavy metal and punk.
