Robosapien is a biomorphic robot toy that is pre-programmed with 67 different functions. It can be controlled by remote control or via infrared transmitter from a properly outfitted computer or PDA.
Hacks
Robosapien's 67 pre-programmed behaviors include dancing, rapping, belching, Kung Fu, throwing objects and more. Hackers, however, have expanded Robosapien's functionality in a number of novel ways. They include:
- Mounting an LCD screen in Robosapien's chest in order to use him as a walking alarm clock
- Adding a miniature flame thrower
- Adding an LED to the head for illumination
- Installing a functional claw
