  • Robot Friend

Robopanda functions under three modes. These are Training mode, Friend mode, and Menu mode. The panda will "sleep" after four minutes without receiving any touch input. Training mode has Robopanda explain how he works. Friend mode has Robopanda talk and tell jokes and stories. Menu mode features three settings: Free Roam, Games, and Tricks. Robopanda can also be programmed to playback a sequence of movements created by moving its arms and legs.
  • Robopanda Reviews

"You've got to give WowWee credit for reaching. Its Robopanda may not exactly be the robot companion of your dreams, but it is, in some crucial ways, the most sophisticated bot WowWee has ever rolled off the assembly line. Some might argue that the larger, $300 Robosapien RS-2 Media with its LCD screen and humanoid appearance, is the real robotics winner, but I contend that the more affordable $169 Robopanda beats the RS2-Media hands down on "engagement." - PC Magazine
