  • Actor and comedian Robin Williams became an overnight star playing Mork from Ork in the 1970s television sitcom Mork and Mindy. He went on to achieve success in the feature films Good Morning, Vietnam, Dead Poets Society, Mrs. Doubtfire and Good Will Hunting, for which he won an Oscar.

    On March 5, 2009, it was reported that Williams was been admitted to a Florida hospital for evaluation after experiencing recent bouts of shortness of breath.
