Robin Tunney

  • Robin Tunney is an American actress. She was born on June 19, 1972 in Chicago, Illinois. She is of Irish descent. Tunney attended the Chicago Academy for the Arts where she studied acting. She moved to Los Angeles, California at the age of 18 to pursue a career in acting. In 1997, Tunney married director Bob Gosse. They divorced nine years later in 2006. She remarried in 2007 to director Andrew Dominik.

  • Acting Career

    Tunney's early career included roles in the television shows Class of '96, Law & Order, Dream On and Life Goes On. She became famous for her role in Empire Records in 1995 as the character Debra. Since then, she has appeared in The Craft, Julian Po, Niagara, Niagara, End of Days, Vertical Limit and Supernova. Her recent works include The In-Laws, Paparazzi, House, The Zodiac, Runaway, Prison Break, Hollywoodland and The Darwin Awards.
