Robin Thicke is an R&B singer-songwriter and the son of actor/musicians Alan Thicke and Gloria Loring. Thicke wrote for the likes of Christina Aguilera and Marc Anthony before rising as a solo artist in 2006 with the Interscope Records release Evolution of Robin Thicke.
On April 28, 2009, Thicke appeared on Dancing with the Stars singing his hit song "When I Get You Alone" and his newest single "Sidestep."
Spring Tour
Thicke has teamed with Jennifer Hudson for a Spring 2009 tour. Writer and Producer
Thicke's early successes in the music industry were behind the scenes. While still in his teens, he began writing songs and producing music, eventually becoming a highly sought writer/producer for such eminent pop acts as Usher, Marc Anthony and Christina Aguilera. When I Get You Alone
On American Idol season six, contestant Blake Lewis chose the song "When I Get You Alone" to perform as his song of choice during the top three week. The song also appeared on Australian Idol and New Zealand Idol, as well as in the movie Rules of Attraction.
