  • Robin Strasser is an American actress that has worked in television since 1964. She is currently an active cast member of the ABC daytime drama One Life to Live as the role of Dorian Crammer Lord. Strasser was cast as Dorian in 1979. She has since left the show and returned twice to reprise the role of Dorian most recently in 2003 and she remains there today. She was the first actress to play Rachel Matthews on Another World and she was also on All My Children from 1976 to 1979 was the role of Dr. Christina Karras Martin.
  • Early Years

    Strasser was raised in Manhattan by her parents Martin and Anne Strasser. Her middle name, Victory in Europe, was given to her because she was born on V-E Day. She graduated from the High School of Performing Arts in Manhattan. Then she attended Yale School of Drama on a full scholarship. Strasser met her first husband Laurence Luckinbill while appearing on Broadway in the show Chapter Two. Strasser and Luckinbill have two sons together. Strasser was also married to Richard Hogan.

    Strasser has been nominated for four Daytime Emmy Awards and eight Soap Opera Digest Awards. She won an Emmy in 1982 for Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama Series for her One Life to Live role. She received the Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Lead Actress for One Life to Live in 1996 and Outstanding Female Scene Stealer on Passions in 2001
