Career
Meade began her broadcasting career as a reporter in Ohio, starting at WMFD-TV in Mansfield. She then moved to WCMH-TV in Columbus, Ohio, followed by WJW-TV in Cleveland. Meade then got a job as the morning news anchor of Today in Florida in Miami. Before starting at CNN, Meade worked at NBC Chicago affiliate WMAQ-TV, serving as anchor for the morning newscasts and then as co-anchor for weekend newscasts. She also covered the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia while with WMAQ-TV.CNN: Robin Meade
