Robert Thomas of Denver, Colorado is an associate of "Balloon Boy" dad Richard Heene. Thomas told Gawker.com that Mr. Heene had been planning a publicity stunt for a reality TV show project. Thomas sold his story to Gawker.com following the October 15, 2009, incident where 6-year-old Falcom Heene was believed to have been flying across Colorado in a runaway balloon.http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_balloon_boy
On October 19, 2009, Authorities said they were planning on questioning Thomas. The day prior, Sherriff Jim Aldernen of Larimer County announced that charges were pending in the hoax case against Heene and his wife Mayuni.
