  • Brief Biography

    Royal attended and played for the local LSU Tigers football team where, in 2001, he was given an All-SEC offensive player honor. He was eligible for the NFL draft in his senior year, 2002, and was selected 160th overall by the Washington Redskins. He made his NFL debut with the Redskins in 2003, playing in six games. Royal continued with Washington, playing in 29 games over the next two seasons. In 2006, he signed as an unrestricted free agent with the Buffalo Bills, and was able to contribute three touchdowns on 25 reception in the 2007-2008 campaign.Official Site of the Buffalo Bills: Robert Royal
