Robert Plant made hard rock history as the singer for one of the most influential rock bands of all time, England's Led Zeppelin. Since 1982 he has been working as a solo artist, but in 1994 Plant reunited with former bandmate Jimmy Page for a brief reunion and tour, and in 2007 both Plant and Page reunited with Zeppelin's third surviving member, John Paul Jones, for a one-off benefit concert appearance as Led Zeppelin.
Plant, along with Alison Krauss, won the 2009 Grammy Awards for Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals, Record Of The Year and Album Of The Year. The pair was also nominated for Best Pop Instrumental Performance and Best Contemporary Folk/Americana Album.Official Site: 2009 Grammy Nominations

Zeppelin Who?
After the late-2007 Led Zeppelin reunion took place at a benefit honoring Atlantic Records exec Ahmet Ertegun, media and fans couldn't help it—they kept asking Plant when the group would announce a full-on Led Zeppelin reunion album and tour. Not that it couldn't happen, but around the time of the reunion hullabaloo Plant was experiencing one of the biggest successes of his post-Zeppelin career, namely that of his critically acclaimed and commercially accepted album with Alison Krauss, Raising Sand. As of mid-2008 Plant remained quite content to tour with the bluegrass star.
