Pattinson was reportedly hit by a taxi in Manhattan on June 18, 2009, while trying to escape a group of fans. The star, who was not injured in the incident, tried to run across the road when a taxi hit him on the hip. "Robsessed" Documentary DVD
In November, 2009, a new documentary DVD will be released chronicling pop culture's fixation with movie star, Robert Pattinson. Promotion for the documentary suggests it will follow Rob's rise to fame and features interviews with Hollywood insiders and several die hard fans.
The DVD is being released by U.K.-based Revolver Entertainment, as is timed to be released in conjunction with the premier of the next Twilight saga film, "New Moon".
There is no word yet if the documentary will be shown on television. -
Robert Pattinson's Music Career

Robert plays the guitar and the piano, writes his own songs, and commercially performs them, preferring pub and local performances to commercial success. His piano training began at the age of 3-4, guitar background began at age 12. By Rob's own admission, he is "not very good at the guitar", but still enjoys it very much. Pattinson's success in his music career to date largely stems from his songs being featured in the movie, Twilight. Movie Director, Catherine Hardwicke had secretly put the tracks into the film without Rob's prior knowledge. Though his music will not be included in the New Moon soundtrack, Pattinson has high hopes that he will be able to perform for the saga's third movie, Eclipse.
In addition to Robert's film soundtrack success, he also performs with a band called Bad Girls, and as a solo artist under the stage name, Bobby Dupea. He has also recorded and released songs on the "How to Be" film soundtrack. -

Robert Pattinson Sings "Let Me Sign" from the Twilight Soundtrack - with Lyrics
From the "Twilight" soundtrack, here is Robert Pattinson singing, "Let Me Sign". This is a song Pattinson performed and recorded long before he was given the part in Twilight, and was included on the movie soundtrack by Director Catherine Hardwicke, much to Rob's surprise. The soundtrack album reached #65 on the U.S. Billboard 200, an impressive performance for a film soundtrack. ("Let Me Sign" was written by Marcus Foster and Bobby Long.)
