    In one of the ads, Jarvik says, "Lipitor is one of the most researched medicines. I'm glad I take Lipitor, as a doctor, and a dad." Although Jarvik completed medical school, he did not complete a medical internship, meaning he is not licensed to prescribe medications. U.S. Congress is conducting an investigation to determine whether the Lipitor commercials constitute medical advice given without a license.
