Long Island Chef, Robert Hesse, was a season five contestant on the Fox reality cooking series, Hell's Kitchen. Head to head against fifteen other competitors, Hesse tried to survive the heat of world-renowned chef Gordon Ramsay's brutal criticism. He left the show as a member of the elite top 5 chefs after suffering chest pains and being diagnosed with pericarditis, swelling around the sac around his heart.
