Career
Robert Heinlein first worked in odd jobs of mining and real estate. At 32, Heinlein started writing science fiction stories publishing a few in the Astounding Science Fiction magazine in 1939. Because he was unable to enlist himself from naval service, he then started to write his first novel Rocket Ship Galileo in 1947 paving way to children's sci-fi stories. A few years later, he started writing for adults where he was acknowledged as 'the best all-time author' by Locus magazine for three consecutive years.
