• Robert Englund is an American actor and director and star of A Nightmare on Elm Street film series where he plays the iconic Freddy Krueger. As of 2008, he has played the Freddy Krueger role eight times. He is currently working on The Vij. Along with his ever growing resume and over thirty years in the business he has also made many television appearances on shows such as Charmed and The Simpsons. Englund currently lives in Laguna Beach, California with his wife Nancy Booth. In 2008 he starred in the comedy horror film titled Zombie Strippers.
