Screenwriter and director Robert Benton received two Academy Awards, a Golden Globe and a Directors Guild of America Award for writing and directing the 1979 drama film Kramer vs. Kramer. His 1984 film Places of the Heart earned him another best screenplay Oscar and he was nominated in the same category for the 1967 film Bonnie and Clyde, 1977's Late Show and 1994's Nobody's Fool.Yahoo!
