Actor Rob Lowe has accused former babysitter, Laura Boyce, of allegedly attempting to extort $1.5 million from him and his wife, Sheryl Berkoff. According to Lowe's blog on The Huffington Post, "It is an attempt to damage and humiliate not only my wife and me, but our two young sons as well." Lowe also posted text messages from the babysitter, in which she apologized for quitting the job back in February 2008. Lowe claims that because the babysitter had a crush on him, she is trying to blackmail his family or force them to face public allegations of harassment.
