  • Rob Davison is a defenseman for the New York Islanders. Davison was drafted by the San Jose Sharks in 1998, and was traded to the New York Islanders in February of 2008. He never earned a regular position with the Sharks team in his 7 years with them. In fact, he never played in an NHL game until 2002-2003 season. During the NHL Lockout he played in the UK's Pro Ice League with the Cardiff Devils. On March 18, 2008, in a game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the New York Islanders, Davison tried to clear the puck from next to his own net while his team was shorthanded. The puck bounced six times and ended up slipping just past the glove of Vesa Toskala. It was just his third goal in 187 career games.
