Roald Dahl is a Welsh novelist and screenwriter who wrote a myriad of popular children's books throughout his career, including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, The Twits and James and the Giant Peach. Many of his books have also been adapted into successful films and television shows.
Autobiographies
Dahl documented the early parts of his life, growing up in boarding schools and fighting for the RAF during World War II, in his autobiographies, Boy: Tales of Childhood and Going Solo. Boy was published in 1984, and Going Solo followed in 1986.
