The 2000 comedy film Road Trip is film about a group of college buddies that embark on a road trip to retrieve an erroneously mailed sex tape.

Storyline
Breckin Meyer plays Josh Parker, a college student at the University of Ithaca, in New York. He films a video tape for his girlfriend Tiffany, played by Rachel Blanchard. In a momentary lapse in judgment, Josh creates another video tape, showing him in a compromising situation with another woman Beth, played by Amy Smart. He mistakenly mails the wrong tape to send to Tiffany, then freaks out when he realizes what he had done. Josh and his friends make a plan to travel to Austin, Texas, where Tiffany attends school, in hopes to switch the tapes before Tiffany watches it. Comedy ensues as the boys travel across the country, meeting various people and finding themselves in unique and sticky situations. -
