Riya Sen

Riya Sen is a Bollywood actress and model. She is Bengali and the grand daughter of legendary actress Suchitra Sen, the daughter of actress Moon Moon Sen, and the sister of actress Raima Sen. Her father Bharat Dev Varma is a member of the royal family of Tripura. Her official surname is Dev Varma but Riya uses her grandmother's maiden name, Sen.

Riya Sen grew up surrounded by the world of film. Her mother and grandmother were well known actresses in India.

She shot into the spotlight for her performance in Pritish Nandy's Jhankaar Beats, in which she starred alongside Rahul Bose.

She has gained attention in India for showing her skin in a number of films as well as engaging in kissing scenes, which are more controversial in Bollywood than in Hollywood. Riya Sen posed semi-nude for Daboo Ratnaani’s annual calendar and has starred in a scandal MMS with, fellow actor and previous boyfriend, Ashmit Patel.

She has appeared in ads for Colgate, Cadbury, Reliance, Dabur Vatika, Limca and Nirma and has been the cover girl for magazines like Elle, Cosmopolitan, Gladrags, Femina and Maxim.
