  • Ricky Nelson was a rock and roll musician who became known as one of the first American teen idols. Nelson began his musical career in the late 1950s, releasing his first single "I'm Walkin", originally a Fats Domino song. He went on to have 30 top 40 hits, including some most recognizable songs such as "Hello Mary Lou", "Travelin' Man", and "Lonesome Town".
  • Early Career

    Nelson began his performing career in 1949 co-starring with his parents on the The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet. The show played until 1954 on the radio, and 1952 to 1966 on television and featured a musical act by Nelson at the end of every show after 1957.
