British comedian and actor Ricky Gervais has been tapped to host the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards. The Awards show will air in January of 2010. Gervais will be the first host for the Golden Globes in nearly 15 years. The last time the Awards had a host was in 1995. Gervais says he's turned down other similar offers in the past, but says hosting the Globes gives him "an environment where I feel I can get free reign as a host."http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20315410,00.html?xid=rss-topheadlines
