Rickie Lee Jones is an American musician, songwriter, and artist. Jones has recorded music in a variety of styles, including R&B, blues, pop, soul, jazz, and folk. In 1979, she released her debut album, which featured the hit single "Chuck E's in Love" about her musician friend Chuck E. Weiss. This song became her trademark and helped her win the "Best New Artist" award at the Grammy Awards.
