  • Canadian professional hockey player Rick Nash is an all-star left winger and captain of the Columbus Blue Jackets in the National Hockey League.

  • NHL Career

    Nash was drafted first overall in the 2002 NHL draft by the Columbus Blue Jackets. He joined the Blue Jackets for his rookie season that same year and scored 17 goals and 22 assists. Nash played in Switzerland during the 2004-05 NHL lockout. He returned to the Blue Jackets after the lockout and was named team captain on March 12, 2008.
