In November of 2008, Incognito spoke out about the week 12 game when the Rams host the Chicago Bears. He said that he expected visiting Bears fan to out-cheer the Rams fans, adding that "our fans get in their seats, they don't know how to cheer, when to cheer. Incognito began his career playing college football with the Nebraska Cornhuskers. After redshirting, he was selected for the freshman All-American team, then the All-Big 12 as a sophomore. Incognito was drafted 81st overall in the 2005 NFL draft by the St. Louis Rams. He did not play his first season, then started all 16 games in 2006.
