Richard Lloyd, the former head of Apex Motorsport, a British racing team, died when the private jet he was aboard crashed into a housing estate in Farnborough, Kent, England on March 30, 2008. Five people were killed in the crash, and at least one house was destroyed by the force of the impact and the fire which followed. Also aboard the jet was Eurosport racing commentator and former British Touring Car Championship driver David Leslie.
