Comedian and actor Richard Belzer originally played Detective John Munch on Homicide: Life on the Street before the character crossed over to the show Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Belzer continues to do comedy, including videos for the website Super Deluxe. Belzer is also a conspiracy theorist and has published the book UFOs, JFK, and Elvis: Conspiracies You Don't Have to Be Crazy to Believe. Belzer has been an outspoken critic of the Iraq war and has written on the subject for his Huffington Post blog. Belzer replaced Randi Rhodes on Air America after Rhodes quit the radio network following her controversial comments about Hillary Clinton.
