Baseball Career
After playing baseball at the University of Michigan, the Cubs selected Hill in the fourth round of the 2002 amateur draft. After a few years as a minor league prospect in the Cubs farm system, Hill made his major league debut on June 15, 2005. Hill started 16 games for the Cubs in 2006, posting a 6-7 record with a 4.17 ERA. In 2007, he started 32 games, with a record of 11-8 and a 3.92 ERA.
