Rich Boy is an Alabama-born rapper and Polow Da Don protege who has appeared on mix-tapes for Jermaine Dupri and DJ Drama. Such releases came before his album, Rich Boy, on Interscope Records in March of 2007.
Career
Although he originally studied engineering at Tuskeegee University, Rich Boy dropped out of college to pursue his musical career. After catching the eye of Polow Da Don, Rich Boy signed a contact through Interscope Records with Zone 4. The Recording Industry Association of America has given his self-titled debut album a Gold certification.
