• Rhea Perlman portrayed acerbic barmaid Carla Tortelli for ten seasons on the sitcom Cheers. Perlman has acted continuously since the 1970s, when she appeared with her future husband Danny DeVito on the sitcom Taxi. In addition to starring in her own short-lived sitcom Pearl, she has been in numerous films, including Matilda, and done stage work. Recently she has also spent time writing the children's book series Otto Undercover. There are six titles in the series currently.
