Football Career
Richards played college football with the Texas Tech Red Raiders from 1999 to 2002. Starting in 40 games, he had a standout collegiate career, winning Big 12 honors during his junior and senior seasons.ArenaFootball.com: Rex Richards
After college, Richards signed with the Indianapolis Colts on September 29, 2003. He stayed with the Colts, playing exclusively with their practice squad.
