Resistance Retribution is a third-person shooter game for the Sony PSP. Retribution fills in the gaps between the first two Resistance titles on the PlayStation 3 and will pit the player against many of the same enemies seen in those two games. Connects with your PS3

Resistance Retribution allows players who have already purchased Resistance 2 for the Playstation 3 the opportunity to play the game differently than those who haven't.
Using the PSP's USB cord, players can connect their PSP to the PS3 with Resistance 2 in the disc drive and "infect" their handheld console. This, in turn, infects your in-game character with a virus that turns him part-monster. Once infected, Resistance: Retribution gives the player special abilites that they would not normally have as an ordinary human.
In addition to the player's in-game character now sporting a different uniform and glowing eyes, he will now also be able to breathe underwater, utilize special weapons found in the console version of the game, and regenerate his own health without the need for a health pack.Joystiq: See How Resistance: Retribution Connects to the PS3 (February 20, 2009)
